The coffee table should be suitable to your living style. If you rarely use it, possibly only to serve your guest a cup of coffee, choose a small, simple table. If it is likely to get used as a place for your favourite magazines, flower vase, bowl, etc., then go for a spacious table with drawers. To show off decorative accessories (shells, stones, photos, etc..) choose a table by the window. For a small space, choose the set of two or three tables of different sizes, which usually is stored underneath one another, and occasionally, when the situation requires, all three tables can be used.
Versatile Coffee Tables: If you have a smaller room, you may think you don‘t have room for a coffee table. If you choose one that serves multiple purposes, however, you may find certain types of coffee tables can actually be space savers. If storage is an issue, many attractive tables offer lots of extra storage space. Drawers or shelves in coffee tables are great places to keep magazines, the phone book, craft supplies or remote controls. Coffee tables that incorporate baskets are cleverly designed to be attractive yet give you more storage options. These are great places to keep baby toys or your latest knitting project.
The difference is subtle, but a cocktail table is not designed specifically for gaming of any kind and tends to be a little more formal. Game tables often have features like built-in boards or places specifically designed to hold chess pieces and similar objects. Modern coffee tables, however, often get overlooked by some online shoppers who think they are shopping for a cocktail table because they happen not to drink coffee. However, by expanding their shopping search to include artistic modern coffee tables, a person would have a greater selection of contemporary but artistic tables that could perfectly complement any home decor.
